Giving Back

This year we have selected two organizations with wonderful missions that are dear to us.
Both organizations center around providing for our community.

Our Mission:

To foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts. To serve our veterans, the military and our communities. To advocate on behalf of all veterans.

Our Vision:

Ensure that veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements, and are recognized for the sacrifices they and their loved ones have made on behalf of this great country.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States is a nonprofit veterans service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces.

We have many programs and services that work to support veterans, service members and their families, as well as communities worldwide.

VCS:

VHS has a strong tradition of success in both academics and extracurricular activities. Our entire high school staff is committed to providing rigorous academic opportunities to our students while providing a variety of academic supports to insure success for all. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing, safe and challenging learning environment. With outstanding support from our families and community, Vicksburg High School takes pride in developing high character in all of our students.

Selection

Each year, we hope to continue to grow this event so we can help expose our community to the wonders of aviation while helping support great charities. We picked the “veteran-serving” VFW for one of our groups and the Vicksburg High School.

We are honored to do our part to further the missions of these great organizations for our inaugural fly-in celebration.

Distribution

All proceeds from the event will be distributed to the selected charities by the event coordinators.
Donation collection cut off for distribution to the honored charities is Monday, September 1, 2025, 11:00am EDT
