This year we have selected two non-profit organizations with wonderful missions that are dear to us.
Both organizations center around providing veterans support.

Our Mission:

To foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts. To serve our veterans, the military and our communities. To advocate on behalf of all veterans.

Our Vision:

Ensure that veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements, and are recognized for the sacrifices they and their loved ones have made on behalf of this great country.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States is a nonprofit veterans service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces.

We have many programs and services that work to support veterans, service members and their families, as well as communities worldwide.

Our Mission:

Provide an opportunity for emotionally and physically adaptive capable veterans and warriors to overcome personal challenges through adaptive sports participation in order to build resiliency, as well as rehabilitate physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Resurgence PPG is a disabled veteran owned and operated, 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity that strives to provide therapy and rehabilitation to disabled, injured, and ill service members and veterans through the liberation of personal flight experienced via powered paragliding.

These adventures are provided at no cost to the service member/veteran and are only made possible through the donations and support of corporations and individuals like you. Please consider supporting the event or donating to bring flight to those that have given so much.

Selection

Each year, we hope to continue to grow this event so we can help expose our community to the wonders of aviation while helping support great charities. This year we picked the theme of “veteran-serving” for our group of selected charities. When we thought of quality, veteran-serving organizations, it was easy to think of specific ones that have greatly served our own communities.

We are honored to do our part to further the missions of these great organizations for our inaugural fly-in celebration.

Distribution

All proceeds from the event will be distributed to the selected charities by the event coordinators.
Donation collection cut off for distribution to the honored charities is Monday, September 9, 2024, 11:00am EDT
